A HAPPY BEE AT CHEMISTEA
-as published in RANDOM REISH

My dearest friend Chechay passed her licensure exam recently. She’s a registered chemist now! #PROUD To celebrate her victory/ return to the real world after months of reviewing/ hibernating we went out and tried this very apt tea shop at Project 8; Chemistea.

Tea shops are sprouting everywhere now. New tea cafes should really think of something different that will make their shop standout or rather interesting to visit, not only for tea lovers but for friends who just want to hangout. I think Chemistea did a good job there.

They will literally mix up your tea concoction, using laboratory instruments. I suddenly missed my lab subjects way back in high school (I tried my best to ditch science related GEs in college haha!).

They call their add-ons as particles, so cute.

The cool thing is that they let you experiment and do your own tea concoction too! Do-it-yourself food/drinks is really in now, from burgers to pizza to ice cream and now tea.

Their pastries were limited. I was looking forward to try their blueberry strawberry cheesecake but it was not available that time.

THE BEST THING ABOUT CHEMISTEA

The best thing.. drinking your tea in these flasks, totally instragrammable too.. move on mason jars.

I ordered their Salted Caramel Tea, it was too sweet for me. I don’t remember them asking for sugar level, 75% will do probably!

I recommend you to try adding cheese froth particles.. especially if you’re a rock salt and cheese Happy Lemon fan.

THE NEXT BEST THING ABOUT CHEMISTEA

GAMES!!!
All customers can play with these for free. Me and my friends were discussing about the disadvantage of having these at a cafe though, because obviously customers will stay longer. We stayed for about an hour and a half but could have been longer if we did not have other plans.

I tried solving this. It was soooooo mainstream during my high school days!

Our first game; Jenga Boom.

Next was UNO cards, we enjoyed this the most. We tried playing this game King-Queen-Jack style. If you don’t know that game you’re totally missing out a lot of fun.
WE WERE SO COMPETITIVE HAHA!

SUPER SERYOSO? BAKIT? HAHA!

You can also read books and magazines.

THE BESTEST THING

Bring your friends! Any place is fun with friends.

They have this cute cork board too, is this a staple for tea shops? This is my next DIY plan in my room! Probably I can have the time by next year haha!

Thank you Chemistea! I will totally go back!
